There is an epidemic of depression and suicide that is threatening to wipe out Alaskan youth and Natives. Just as mushers raced to carry the serum to those villages in Western Alaska, Carry The Cure (CTC) races to carry a message of life, hope and love to save youth and others from acts of self harm. In each village we present our “committed to life” suicide prevention school assembly. Then, in the evening, Broken Walls hosts a community concert.
