“The first time I saw Jonathan Maracle and Broken Walls perform live was in 1999 at a First Nations Christian gathering in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It was also the first time I heard the song ‘Rise Up Mighty Warrior.’ To this day, I still can’t quite put into words how my life changed. I was immediately set on a course of radical healing, amazing discovery, and a unique mission. While it would be foolish for me to attribute all that has been accomplished in over 20 years to one song, one musician, or one conference, I know that Creator reached me in a powerful, supernatural way that weekend through Jonathan’s music. There is no doubt that Jonathan is a gifted musician and songwriter, and his music is truly anointed by the Holy Spirit. Jonathan has a calling on his life to deeply impact people in remarkable ways, whether it is through preaching, singing, performing, writing, listening, serving others, being an advocate or building relationships one story at a time.
