Port Graham, Seldovia and Homer 2018
Tuesday, May 15, 2018
Broken Walls joined Carry the Cure for an outreach to Port Graham, Seldovia and Homer. It took a lot of travelling but it was well worth it. We had a very special time in each community. The hospitality was great and the people seemed to embrace our message. Our message was delivered from the heart and seemed to break through barriers. Leaders shared how much they enjoyed our presentations, and in Port Graham, a young dance group danced, drummed and sang to welcome us. We made great connections with the tribal council and other leaders.
Along the way, we had the chance to get re-acquainted with old friends. We specifically released love, boldness and joy; and the team prayed over each person who came forward. Everyone joined in a dance of healing and the challenge was to ‘Go and Do,’ to embrace their God-given gifts and release them to others. It was truly a great time of blessing.
In Homer, members of many different churches were present for a night of edification and encouragement. Each of our team members shared and we ended with a time of each team member releasing their gift onto individuals as they walked through the line. We felt a shift in Homer and we feel that this will impact all of Alaska.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
