The Cry Kingston
Thursday, July 6, 2017
On July 1st, Canada’s 150th birthday, people from many regions, cultures and denominations gathered at Fort Henry in Kingston, Ontario for a full-day of music, and prayer for Canada that continued well into the night. It was an incredible event. Lots of people came out in spite of the rain. You could truly feel the love from everyone. Faytene Grasseschi, director of TheCry Movement did an amazing job as visionary in leading the event.
The day started with protocol to honour our local Chief R. Donald Maracle of Tyendinaga and receive his words of blessing on the day. We were joined by Barry and Luanne Greene, from Syracuse, NY who danced their prayers as Broken Walls sang. Throughout the day, there were pastors and leaders from all over the province, sharing their hearts. We know that we are in a season of healing and change in Canada and we are expecting great things to happen.
