South Dakota 2014
Thursday, September 25, 2014
Broken Walls had an amazing trip to South Dakota. They had the privilege of playing at LifeLight Music Festival, Worthing, SD for the third time. It is the largest free-admission music festival in North America and attracts more than 100,000 people annually. Their team also travelled to several locations with Mission Wounded Knee to do concerts, outdoor outreaches, church services and youth assemblies. We had an amazing team from all over North America who travelled with us from event to event. We were even joined this year by an amazing guitarist by the name of Travis Peters who travelled all the way from Pikangikum, Ontario to be with us at LifeLight.
At each venue, they received an amazing welcome and heard lots of testimonies of life-changing experiences. There are now many doors open for a return next year. The team was pretty tired but very encouraged by the success of the tour. Our thanks to Bruce and Donna Bartelli of Mission Wounded Knee and their commitment to the Native American people they serve so selflessly.
