Broken Walls in The Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales
Tuesday, September 24, 2013
Broken Walls recently returned from a tour in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales.. Jonathan shares: “After we stepped out in faith and bought our tickets, it was wonderful to see how God brought this tour to the Celtic people. We arrived in Dublin and completed 5 dates in Ireland including Belfast in Northern Ireland before travelling to Wales where we played 10 more times before travelling home.
After we played an engagement in the Republic of Ireland, a lady came forward full of tears and told us how much she appreciated us coming. She shared how the First Nations people had sent food and money to them during the Great Famine in the 1800’s. We were so honoured as they fondly remembered the help that they had received from our people.
As we played our music and shared our hearts, there was no doubt of the favour we have to carry the love of Jesus through the vehicle of our culture. Throughout the tour, there was a common word spoken to us. It was – ‘There is a shift in the Spirit and a release of love.’
There are many requests for us to return to the Celtic Isles and we are prayerfully considering when and where that might be.”
